Liz, the manager, was so helpful, professional and friendly when we had questions or needs. Thank you so much!!
Really 4.5 stars. I see a lot of comments about the office communication, and they re right, I had trouble getting them to relay information to my instructor. That said, Jeremy was a really good instructor and made the lessons engaging and easy to understand. I feel like I needed to know a lot of what they taught and it was really helpful to get this information. It s also nice that the class includes the final drive at the end so you can earn your license with someone who at least knows you.
This is a very educational course that just scares you enough to be a safe driver while also keeping you wanting to drive. The classes are very educational and helpful and if you are looking for a high effort class to get a proper education this is for you. My driver was Jeremy and he had a lot of helpful stories to show you what really happens. Overall a good experience just a takes your effort.
Jeremy is very transparent about his goals for us, and keeps the focus of the time he spends teaching on making sure that we understand the lesson. His stories, I find, serve to make the point of the lesson memorable. I feel like a much more confident and competent driver than when I started out, solely thanks to this course. So long as you are somewhat accustomed to navigating oddly laid out web interfaces, the websites and such are clear enough. Once you get the hang of it, nothing is terribly hard to access. All lessons have also been very on time, except for some unavoidable technical difficulty. I would definitely recommend this course to a friend.
Great curriculum and i learned a lot i wouldn t have otherwise, definitely a time commitment. The driving instructors are helpful and made me feel comfortable driving with them. It was very hard to communicate with the office and i also got different information from driving instructors than my class instructor which was frustrating. Class instructor Andrew was a good teacher and kept us engaged online.
I had taken two classes of 2hr each with 1st learn to drive. Randy Schroeder was my instructor. He was awesome, supportive, funny, and knowledgeable. He gave me a lot of tips that helped me clear my driving exam in the first attempt. If you already have experience in driving within the parking lots at least, its a added advantage. I did a lot of online shopping in order to pick a driving school, and Im glad that I finally went with 1st learn to drive. Scheduling my classes was easy, and Randy was punctual to the dot. I would recommend them to anyone, irrespective of the level of driving exposure.
Highly recommend this course. Jeremy was a great instructor. He was very straightforward and gave great advice. His voices were awesome as well. The class is a solid amount of work, but it s only 8 weeks and it goes by extremely fast.
Really great course. Lesson teachers were thorough and very committed to producing good drivers. Drive instructors were also committed and gave useful feedback. A bit direct at times, but you have to be to properly teach this kind of thing. Coursework is not to bad and it teaches you what you need to know. The one thing was that communicating with the office was pretty terrible. They almost never responded back to email, and call system gets automatically put into an email format, which is really annoying. But you basically dont ever need to talk to the office to go through the course, so it wasnt a giant problem. Overall, its a great program.
1st Learn to Drive was fantastic. 3 hour classes seem like a drag at first, but instructors like Andrew definitely make it worthwhile. This program has taken my driving to heights I never thought I could understand. I highly recommend using this program to anyone who s a new driver. Thanks to drive instructors Steve and Christian too!
Course was good, instructors were great. Unfortunately, instructors apparently dont give out accurate information about the final drive and the people at the office were fairly rude. My son wasnt as prepared as we would have liked for the first attempt, which was fine, but they only give you 30 days to schedule the second drive. The instructor made it seem like their was more flexibility, I asked on the last class knowing he wasnt ready. But, we only had 4-5 weeks before he had to take the first...
attempt, so we did that and he didnt pass. When I called to find out about scheduling the second attempt after receiving an email that we only had 30 days to reschedule, I felt the guy I talked to was fairly disrespectful. I know my son needs more drive time, but I dont want to pressure him into attempting the test again until hes ready. Of course at $60 per re-attempt, they seem to just want to make money rather than make sure teens are actually ready, go figure. And, apparently they dont do what it takes to assure the instructors are providing accurate information to parents. I understand instructors are human, but timelines for taking the test isnt a difficult thing to understand and communicate. Of course they dont tell you to call the office for accurate information, nor is clear on the website that you shouldnt rely on the instructors for accurate information about scheduling. Their 30 day policy seems like a great way for the company to make extra money, but not actually assure a teen is ready. We wont be using them again with our youngest.
