Ok let me start off by saying its not what I expected as far as training grounds. ok. gravel all the way around, porter potty outside, you know small stuff per say to a persons view. but I will say this, Keith, Brad, Chris, and Oskar are all fantastic trainers. They know what they are talking about when it comes to a Semi listen to what they have to say. yes they all teach differently, but I guarantee you by the end of your training, YOU WILL KNOW HOW TO PRE TRIP, AND DRIVE. if you dont like being...
outside in the sun and on your feet all day, then find somewhere else to go. other classes are there(1 week, 2weeks, 3 weeks.) everyone was friendly and helpful. you learn by not only the instructors but also by bouncing off the students there as well. is it consistency no but you will have it down packed by the time you leave. dont get discouraged or panicked. if you need help, Keith, Chris, Brad and Oskar ARE THERE TO HELP YOU. DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK THEM FOR HELP OR TO GO OVER ANYTHING. I was absolutely nerve wrecked on my day one, but immediately Keith helped me to just calm down and so did Brad. just remember, if you want your CDLs, you must put in the work as well. just because you dont think the conditions are nice or its not to your liking, then obviously you dont want it that bad. Do your homework. practice at home, on the road in your car, at work, wherever you are. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. WORK FOR WHAT YOU WANT. GET OUT THERE EVERYDAY WHILE YOU ARE HERE AND FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THESE TRUCKS. YOU WANT TO CONVERSATE FINE, BUT DO WHAT YOU CAME TO DO, GET YOURSELF READY TO BE A CDL HOLDER. AGAIN , I THANK KEITH(BIG MAN ON CAMPUS), BRAD( FUNNY LAID BACK GUY), CHRIS( AWESOME TEDDY BEAR GUY) AND OSKAR( THE KNOWLEDGE BEAST). for all the wonderful info they provide.
I got my CDL A Permit back in March, and I applied for this school in April or May of this year. I ignored the reviews and have literally invested my last into getting my license, transportation, daycare, etc. situated, so I can start school. I ve been offered a good amount of jobs, which I have turned down because I was under the impression that it could take up to 2 months MAXIMUM, to start. My permit expires next month and I am still waiting to start this school. I m no longer holding my breath. This school seems very unorganized and unprofessional, so I m not convinced that it will be any different after beginning the course.

Shout out to the instructor Dennis who got sent from Columbus, without his help I don t know if I would have learned what I learned. And the Office manager Joe was great too! Ray and Dave get an honorable mention as well.
They did a great job In class and on the yard thanks to Joe, Kendra from Dayton, Denise from Columbus, Eric from Columbus, David from Cincinnati, Ray from Cincinnati, Cris from Cincinnati, and Keith from Cincinnati, Todd from Kentucky, and Liz and Lori in the class and I just want to thank everyone for helping me be successful. I m a One and Done student. Thanks 160
They have been short on trainers lately. However, the trainers that have been present are very knowledgeable and personable. It is not a school for babysitting, students attending this school should be self motivated. They give you the tools to succeed and they leave it to you to use them.
Awesome experience, Joe was nothing but helpful, will definitely be recommending anyone and everyone to go to him for CDL needs!
Joe is a great person and amazing at his job he s there to help you take your career to the next level.Highly Recommend to attend 160 driving academy
Someone coming with no trucking background coming to this academy has giving me the confidence and can do this attitude for my CDL s. The instructors are very knowledgeable and have on road life experience. They supply you with the knowledge, give you the space, on hand if/when needed and it s up to you to succeed. Great experience!!
