Stay away from them one of the worest school ever , I joined this school after i fooled with the reviews online which i discovered that it s related to another branches not the one in cinncinati , they have 3 truck you ll not get enough training you ll stay the whole day so you can take 10 min over the wheel , instructer was rude and when i complained that they have 3 old trucks and too many student and am not coming everyday for 10 or 15 min over the wheel , yael israel the OM told me you wanna...
take money back or continue i request to take my money i was paying $4750 cash in advance and they return to me $2000 For 3 days in the driving 10 min everyday so i was staying there every day 8 hours in the sun just to took 10 or 15 min driving. They just open this branch from 6 months and i got shocked while i was in the training period when i heard that they celebrate with the 1st graduate after 5 months from opening so i took the $2000 and i got real training in another school and got my license a piece of cake If you re in cincinati i would recommend to contact Napier or butler tech
It s very bad school There is no follow-up to the student, lack of interest in training the student, and bad treatment. I took the exam 3 times and did not succeed
Good school and good instructors on site. Yard is a dust bowl but otherwise it was a good experience.

If it wasnt for Dennis Aka Buck I wouldnt have passed my CDL test! Great person!!
160 Academy Cincinnati is for previous truck drivers it will be easy but for beginners you must have a quick learning attitude: 2 instructors in classroom give a quick refresher for written test and then 2-3 instructors will help you practice passing the test in the truck Yard until your final day to test with their truck to get or renew your CDL. The classroom instructors arent trained to adjust instructions that cater to different individuals, its a one size fit all, thats...
in the classroom or online instructors are a hot mess, was kind of unorganized: However in the yard which is an outdoor classroom=Port-o-potty and picnic tables, only thing missing is a barbecue=YOU ARE OUTDOORS no exceptions. So by that I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the outdoor extremes of rain with no real shelter and that cold was horrible for pre-trip inspections...but 5 stars for very close to real with a trucking company. Yard instructors teach great especially Jim he is the best & then there is Tiny in Cincinnati, really knows how to cut the icing and get to the cake of learning and the focus of passing the CDL test as well as Tiny who is a dear sweetheart & drill drill drill on corrections, he wont let up but that is good. I give them all in the yard a thumbs up, Ray a little rough but trucking is a rough industry so if you cannot take Rays approach then you might not be fit for trucking. I give the classroom a thumbs down!
