Two of my children have taken the driving course through Helms. It was a great experience for both, they learned a lot and have proven to be very safe young drivers. They were very flexible in scheduling the driving segments of the course and I never felt uneasy with my children in the car with them. The instructors at Helms are highly trained and very professional while also making the class fun for the young students.

Full service driving school. Responsive, easy to communicate, friendly and accommodating. Will definitely use again for our next child!

I can tell you that it seems most people only tend to do negative reviews these days. But I want to let everyone know that under the new ownership of Helms Driving School, Chrystal Helms has been nothing short of great. Our daughter was able to take the class online, do her eye check and six hours behind the wheel an efficient and reasonable amount of time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Our son had a great experience with Helms. Nervous driver at first, now much more confident. Pete was very helpful and had the patience of a saint. We re signing up our next kid this month. I read some of the old reviews and they seemed way off. From what I was told, ownership changed about 2 years ago. Not sure why google wouldn t confirm that and ditch the irrelevant, old reviews.

I had a good experience with Helms! From the very beginning, they were extremely helpful and patient. My lessons with Ms Melissa were great. She provided me detailed, honest feedback and throughout the lessons was constantly motivating me. I definitely felt an improvement and became more confident on the road. We had a positive experience with communication and the class itself. My son was very nervous about the behind-the-wheel portion but Pete was great about helping him build his confidence. I would encourage you to reach out to Chrystal about the eye exam and the behind-the-wheel portion just to make sure you get both on your calendars in advance.

All of our children have attended & passed the Helms Driving School. The staff are friendly & patient with new drivers which really helps to build their confidence.
