Charlotte Driving Academy

Charlotte Driving Academy has excellent customer service! Their staff is extremely caring and attentive. We had an unusual situation coming from out-of-state and needed to prepare for the NC state road test. Amy was so caring and absolutely amazing! Charlie, my daughter s driving instructor, volunteered to come in on his day off to assist my daughter with her road test preparation. Charlotte Driving Academy is absolutely the best and I whole heartedly recommend them!

Charlotte Driving Academy offers exceptional instructors who make parents feel at ease while their teens learn to drive. My son thoroughly enjoyed his driving lessons with the staff (Amy & Dana), who helped him feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel for the first time. The academy has fully equipped him with the skills and knowledge necessary to prepare for his driving test. The staff was also incredibly helpful in answering all our questions about the process for obtaining his permit. I highly recommend Charlotte Driving Academy!

Charlotte Driving Academy is outstanding! Having had my older children attend other driving schools, I can say without a doubt that CDA is a cut above. The instruction is both engaging and valuable, presented by a staff that is both professional and well trained. My daughter completed this course well prepared for both her permit test and taking on the road as well. I would highly recommend Charlotte Driving Academy to any parent considering their drivers education options!

Charlotte Driving Academy is excellent! The classroom portion was interesting and interactive. The driving simulator which is included in the classroom portion is the best tool for new drivers. The driving instructors were knowledgeable and were able to build my child s confidence. Our overall experience was A+!

I am so thankful we found Charlotte Driving Academy! It is truly amazing in every way. Their staff is friendly, professional and responsive and made learning so much fun. My daughter took the course over 2 weekends and she was sad when it was over. She said she wanted to go back! The class was engaging and she learned SO MUCH. Her behind the wheel experience could not have been better, and she loved that too (thank you Danna!!) She received such an incredible education here and I feel 100% confident as she approaches getting her permit. My son took driver ed from somewhere else and it was a terrible experience! We wanted our money back! This place was a night and day difference. Thank you CDA team for what you are doing!

We had an INCREDIBLE experience with Charlotte Driving Academy! Our son learned a ton in the classroom portion and enjoyed getting to drive with 3 different instructors. They kept him engaged and interested and gave him confidence when it was time to go behind the wheel. He actually said he is going to miss them now that he s finished! We will recommend them to all of our friends and be back in a few years with our daughter!

I just finished my driving part with Mr. Johnson. I couldnt have asked for a better instructor to have. He was patient and really chill with me, if I had to recommend someone to drive with it would be him. This whole experience with the driving academy was great everyone is so nice and welcoming.

I first took the driving class with Dana and had a great time, despite the lengthy class making my experience great. My driving instructor Lamont was great making me feel comfortable behind the wheel and increased my confidence behind the wheel. Highly recommend this place.

Charlotte Driving academy has been an amazing experience for my daughter! What your child receives here, compared to some of the longer standing drivers Ed programs in Charlotte, is dramatically better (my oldest did not do Charlotte Driving Academy). Everything from the little things like accommodating schedules to the big things like ensuring your child has practice and experience across multiple driving situations (highways, school zones, merging local, traffic, rain, etc.) - they are very intentional...

I loved the feedback form completed after every behind the wheel session, which talked in detail about what your child did and did not do, strengths, and things to continue to work on. And the added bonus is the simulator! Can t say enough GREAT things about this small business, started by Amy and her team. Your child would be incredibly fortunate to go through this program!

I cannot say enough good things about my daughters experience with Charlotte Driving Academy. The classroom learning was reinforced through the simulator and it kept her engaged in the content. Her behind the wheel instructor was truly amazing - a calming presence who taught her how to manage a car on the road and to practice defensive driving techniques. He encouraged her to take on new driving tasks as she was ready and was always there to support and keep her safe. Communication with Charlotte Driving Academy was easy and they were accessible and responsive to questions. Highly recommend!!
