Best driving instructor in the city by far. Highly recommend!! Passed my road test in one-go after a month of training with Mr. Hyun. He is patient and professional. He will help you get in the habit of safely, skillfully and smoothly driving, going above and beyond than simply sharing test prep pointers.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mr.Hyun was extremely patient and always made me feel comfortable and calm even when I made many dumb mistakes. He gives many tips and tries to go above and beyond by teaching both how to pass the driving test and how to be a proper and safe driver after the test. I also really liked how many of his tips had an exact way of doing things instead being told to just do it by feeling. I felt this was really helpful as a new driver since I had no experience so I could not go off of feeling. However, since he kept drilling in the steps, I was able to just go off of the steps and properly do what I needed to do. Thank you for the support and guidance!!

Thanks to Mr. Hyun, I passed my drivers license test on the first try. Having driven for over 10 years in Korea, I thought getting a New York drivers license would be easy. However, when I practiced before the test, I was a bit surprised by the differences from Korea. Mr. Hyun assured me that if I followed his instructions, I would pass without any problems. So I followed his instructions exactly as he taught, and I passed with a high score on my first attempt! I highly recommend Monami Driving School!

I was a Korean driver for 10+ years and already had regular driving in NY with my family. I passed driving test at 3rd try: first try failed due to just my recklessness, second try failed because of examiner s wrongful disregard. Mr. Hyun encouraged me to take final try saying that my competence is fully equipped (because during two tries, his instructions had improved my driving skill as well as understanding of NY s traffic rules and systems). I am so happy to recommend Mr. Hyun with my experience (eventually ending well). His teachings and instructions must be valuable for anybody new to NY driving.

I was so lucky to have found Monami driving school when I was looking for a kind and meticulous instructor who could teach me how to drive safely, as I have always had fear of driving. There were many things I just never knew how to do properly and he took me step by step, patiently explaining them a number of times, until I wasn t a nervous wreck anymore. Even though I had plenty butterflies in my stomach during yhw road test, I was able to calmly maneuver what had been instructed to me prior. Mr. Hyun is a professional and experienced instructor. I had no idea about driving and was worried about whether I could learn to drive well. However, hes taught me A to Z about how to drive well and safely. He also gave me clear answers kindly whenever I asked questions. I always felt safe during driving lessons with him. Ive felt an improvement in self-confidence through lessons as well. I highly recommend MonAmi driving school to people who want to learn not only how to drive well but also how to drive safely :)

I highly recommend this driving school if you are preparing the road test in nyc. The instructor was very informative and clear of what he teaches. He will help you to understand driving rules and tips not only for the test but also for your future driving life.

Excellent excellent instructor. Teaches you how to drive safely in traffic, not just for test preparation. He was very patient with me and always maintained his calm, which I greatly appreciated. I was in a relative time crunch to get a driver license, but he was very accommodating. I was virtually a complete novice in terms of driving, but after a month of practice, I passed the road test on my first attempt! I couldnt recommend him highly enough!

I used to drive in Korea for 7 years, but I already knew that driving practice test in NY is kind of picky so I was really worried. But the instructor was so kind and explained in detail. So I passed the test!! He is the best instructor!!
