Perfect Park Driving School Manhattan, New York

I got a 15 hour package which also includes the 5 hour class and road test. I had every practice session with Monty, who is an excellent instructor, and I passed the road test easily in large measure due to how well he prepared me. I had no trouble scheduling practice sessions, and got all 15 hours in in about 2.5 weeks. I intend to go back to perfect park for highway practice now that I have my license. He pays attention to how you succeed: in my case, background chatter helps me focus so he would keep a steam of consciousness going as I drove. He is always calm and stays positive: every mistake is a chance to learn through nudges and suggestions or (much more rarely, as when I missed a stop sign) a gently spoken directive to pull the car over and talk through how a poor choice happened. Monty makes sure you know the elements of the drivers exam cold: parallel parking, 3 point turns, stop signs, and turning from 1 way roads into 2 way roads and vice versa, over and over again until its pure muscle memory.

I had a fantastic experience with Perfect Park Driving School. After not driving for over a decade, I needed to quickly refresh my skills for a new local license. They scheduled back-to-back lessons with excellent instructors, and just two weeks later, I passed my test. This school is top-notch. Learning to drive in the LES prepares you for anything in the city. Thanks to everyone on the staff. Highly recommend!

I got a package with the pre-licensing course, lessons, and road test included. The receptionists Gigi and Violet were nice and accommodating; the instructors Monty and Denise were practical, helpful, and encouraging; the driving escort that took me to my test was very helpful and informative. The school was also able to schedule my road test with a pretty quick turnaround once Monty and myself felt ready(after 4 lessons). I opted to have my last lesson right before the test and it was a great to practice all the maneuvers right before. Robert, who drove me to and from the road test was PREPARED! He has his own index card with tips and pointers for the road test and was able to answer any question I had about the test. I passed my road test earlier today with only a 5 point deduction. Highly recommend this driving school! I got my drivers license after 10lessons even no driving experience! Instructors are very kind and patient, especially lady instructors Denise because of all of my lessons with her instruction.Thank for helping me how to drive with confidence! Monty with driving one lesson before road test! He also great , patient and teaching how to fix your parking after that I got my license! These guys are awesome, I passed my test first try. Violet, Gigi, Denise, Monty, and Robert are all great at what they do and I highly recommend you come here for your driving needs. Denise and Monty are both fantastic instructors who taught me a lot, and I enjoyed taking my lessons with them. My man Robert only drove me to and from the driving test but he gave such invaluable information about what the testers are looking for when you take your test. If Robert drives you to your test, LISTEN to what hes got to say trust me.

I drive a car for many years before I move to NYC. Then I did not buy a car and take subway only in Manhattan. Denise and Monty are amazing and patient teachers. They put me at ease and helped me get back into driving after a 20 year break. Highly recommend.

In my opinion, Monty is an amazing driving teacher- he is smart about being on the road, really funny, and gives good feedback on your driving skills. He really is 100% committed to your success on the road test, Ive been practicing parking and u-turns since day 1. Would definitely recommend!
