I would have saved a lot of time and money if I had chosen this school than all the other schools nearby. Michael makes you feel confident and aware of both your strengths and weaknesses. This place is legendary. Literally. My sister first went here in 2015, passed on her first try, I went in 2017, passed on my first try, referred this place to 6 other people, they all passed on their first try. I will not stop referring my friends, this place is so good at what they do. Its worth it. I will never forget my driving instructor, George, he was so cool and so calm. Frank is an outstanding instructor with many years of experience. You will be lucky to have him teach you. He gives direct, honest feedback, and provides a lot of useful tips about the driving test process. Frank is direct and will point out your mistakes as your make them. Just keep a mental note of the recurring problem areas and keep practicing them. You will improve after a few round of practices. Before you take test, Frank will tell you a lot of info about the test location, what the (particular) proctors look for, and common mistakes that cause instant fail. Pay attention to what he says, especially about the stuff you shouldnt do during the test: you will be well prepared for test day.

I always had difficulty driving and I couldn t get the hang of it, but Kevin taught me so well. He is an amazing instructor as he was super patient, kind and supportive. I really could not have taken this test without him. During the actual exam, he was able to make me laugh and ease all of my nerves. I m really grateful to have passed with him as my coach! I highly recommend him if you are a beginner or always had a difficult grasp of driving! :-)

I was very nervous about learning how to drive as I had no experience prior. Gold Success makes the process very smooth especially when scheduling/rescheduling lessons. I found 90 min lessons much easier for scheduling and for having adequate learning time. I primarily had Frank for my lessons who I highly recommend. He is very experienced and teaches you all his tricks for the skills required for the road test and for driving in general. He has a good balance of being supportive while pointing out your mistakes (and how to correct them). Thus, I was able to pass the road test on the first try within a couple of weeks!

I just passed my road test on this Tuesday. VERY HAPPY!! felt so relieved. I highly recommend Gold success as your driving school and Michael as your instructor. I had some experiences driving in my country but it isnt the same in New York. Michael is very caring, patient and knowledgeable. He knows how to calm you down when you are nervous or frustrated. He was always with me from day 1 and until my result came out!

I already have driving experience for 14 years, and just wanted to know what the road test here will focus on, I had an okay experience with Kevin and passed my road test easily. My wife s experience was terrible, though! She had the beginners package with Frank. Your expectations from a beginner is that they don t know how to do stuff! Read full review place! Frank set her for failure with literally saying go take your test in another state because its easier and people do not pass in nyc the first time! Its like he was proud that his students are failing for some reason! His car s AC was not working, or maybe was too cheap to turn it on! Of course, my wife failed the road test, because of the wonderful teaching she received from the proud of his failing students Frank! And that was not all! They wanted to charge us 100$ if we needed to retake the road test before the end of the month, even though we were very clear that we are leaving nyc by the end of the month and they never mentioned those 100$! This driving school is a scam. If you need to teach your kids, spouse, whoever how to drive, just rent a car and go somewhere safe to teach them, you don t need scammers to take your money and set you for failure and even ask for more money to retake the test! They don t even deserve one star!
