The worst school ever. I went for cdl school. Over the phone the promised everything, pay the money and you will start class next day. Did not happen. The trucks are so old and dirty. The one day before the official test, the registration for the truck expired!! The instructor lowes keep Rescheduling the classes , too many problems with them. The truck practice is on the streets .They dont have theyre on it yard, no class rooms, no books to learn for pti. BIG Waste of time and money.
Luis is an amazing instructor. He gets the job done very efficiently, with exact step-by-step guide to follow to pass, he is highly professional teacher, very responsive and will find test slots quickly too. Very much recommend!
Oh wow. What an amazing instructor. Maria was very informative. She went thoroughly into details about what is required to know for the CDL permit test. Her information was very accurate. Before taking this class I had 0 knowledge about tractor trailers. After 2 days of taking her class I went to the DMV to take the exam and I passed all 3 parts. Thank you so much.
With limited time to work with Luis gave the exact teaching I need to pass mi inspection in just two days ,I highly recommend anybody who is looking seeking a good driving school.

Today Jan. 22, 2024 I attempted for the first time my road test at the DMV Test site in Riversdale, Bronx NY...and can you believe it people...I PASSED!!! Glory to God in the highest!!!! I want to thank my Driving instructor Fardin - I read your notes multiple times and practiced the steps in my imaginary car at home (seriously...but if you know, you know). I also watched multiple driving videos on You Tube to reinforce the lessons I learnt. But the cherry on the cake came from Lewis - Senior Driving Instructor...who drilled us, gave tips/ pointers and reassurance just before the exam... thank you so very much Lewis. I am happy to have been a student of Barnes Driving School. Would I recommend them to others...absolutely, YES!

Barnes driving school is great! I have a lot of anxiety and I worked with Luis who took his time and explained everything no matter how many times I needed! He is very patient unlike instructors I ve had before! He also worked with my dad who passed his exam. Barnes school staff really cares for further drivers and it shows!
Took 6 lessons with Fardin and who got me ready for the test. I had failed my previous one so I was nervous about taking it again but this driving school got me more than ready. On the test day Luis drove me there and waited with me until it was my turn to take the test. Not only is he an amazing instructor but also a great person and is very kind and generous. I passed with almost no points going against me. Would definitely recommend this school to anyone wanting to learn how to drive and pass the test.
Luis made the whole experience incredibly easy and smooth! It is hard to imagine working with someone else better than him, in terms of knowledge and how well he treats his students. I had to reschedule a few times due to work and Luis was always flexible and extremely accommodating. He will teach you how to confidently pass the test and will make sure you know all the right details. Fardin did an outstanding job as well - broke down parallel parking into small, easy to follow steps. Great team that I won t hesitate to recommend!
