Mike is an excellent teacher. My vision is limited and Mike s instructions were very well-tailored to this. He was honest about my progress at all times and calmly told me what I did wrong and how I could improve on it in a supportive way. As such, it was more than worth it to me to take a train into his service area from Jersey City after finding myself unsatisfied with the services offered by local schools.

I did my 6 hours with Shift Above 2 and it was amazing. Although I was nervous and unsure of myself when trying to control the car Mike made me comfortable and gave me the confidence I needed to learn the fundamentals of driving real world and being prepared for my road test. today i finished the last of my 6 hours of training. through the training i realized things related to driving and maneuvering were not at easy as it appeared from drivers ed. I felt that I improved after each lesson review. I felt that being given the freedom to decide to steer the car for myself i had more confidence. I felt that I was given enough information for the road test requirements and i feel confident of my road test level requirements.

I had 3 sessions with Mike since my only driving and parking experience was in Italy where I m from and about 3 years between cities and country stile. Things that I needed that Mile help me with were turn on red, different traffic lights, no left turning areas, how left turn and u turns are from right side turn about , multi line markings on road because in Italy we have only 2 marks. Read full review okay with a small car and parking in small space but not tight for car size. After spending time learning different paroling styles and sides space with Mike in his vehicle seventeen foot long I fell capable, comfortable, easier to park and better more now than before. Started at 25 foot space and finished capable of parking in 18.5 foot space which I didn t think would be able to do in a space short time.

I had an outstanding experience with Coach Mike at the driving school. His patience and professionalism made learning to drive a breeze. He was always punctual and his teaching approach was incredibly precise. Thanks to his guidance, I gained the confidence I needed to pass the driving test and become a practical driver from a newbie. I highly recommend the driving school and Coach Mike to anyone looking for a top-notch driving instructor!

I was looking for a driving school that offered a program that would both improve my driving skills and help me adjust to a new driving environment since I moved recently to NJ. After talking to Mike , I decided to sign on here. Mike was very good at understanding and recognizing what I needed and how to help me adapt to the new environments and style to be more confident and comfortable driving at various road speeds and traffic and highways that are different from what I was use too. Would recommend the advance program to those that want to elevate their skills and/or confidence.

Mike is an excellent instructor who gives very clear directions and is extremely patient and understanding. He helped me not only learn but master skills like parallel parking, u turns etc in no time. I have worked with other instructors in Jersey and I can safely say Mike is the best! As someone who struggles with anxiety, I felt very calm and relaxed while working with him. I highly recommend Mike!

Mike was excellent! He was very flexible and worked around our schedule to help my son complete his behind the wheel hours as soon as possible. He was patient and gave great advice to our son. Jayden was confident and passed the road test on his first attempt. Mike was even willing to schedule some time to have extended practice before Jayden took the test. He was very professional and we highly recommend him.

I loved my experience with Shift Above 2! I had a driving license from another country that expired a while back, so I had to go through the whole process again. I ve been postponing getting my license because I had a small accident years ago and never drove again, it gave me massive anxiety to think of trying again. Michael was so patient and worked with me to make me comfortable and confident driving again, and it payed off - I just passed my road test on the first try! Definitely recommend!

After I passed my written/knowledge test at my areas DMV I began training with this company to help steer me into the right direction and steps I needed for being on the road. My uncle got me started on the basics but this company really helped me get a more detailed and helpful grasp on my general knowledge. With everything I was taught from my instructor Im now able to really feel comfortable and confident with being behind the wheel. In my opinion I dont believe Ill lose anything that was already taught to me and Im very grateful to have a new way to travel and more freedom.
