If you want your CDL license, this is the place to go. The instructors are top-notch, very knowledgeable, and professional, I did not feel pressured, Ive gone to a lot of driving schools, and I promise you this one is one of the best, I will definitely always recommend my friends and family to providence driving schoo.
Ive been with this driving school almost a decade ago, but I couldnt always afford classes, and I wasnt available to do my road test often which made it difficult to continue or pursue my license. The instructors I had in the past were fairly decent. Now, after a long time of not attempting to get my license, I booked few sessions with this driving school again for the summer. I was worried what the outcome would have been, but I met different instructors. The one instructor that I worked with often...
was Ted. I had six classes with him and he taught me very well. I learned everything I needed to know about the road. He advised me like a teacher or professor would and it was the best help Ive ever had for me. I felt comfortable and safe. My new experiences of driving classes with Ted were much better results and a better outcome, compared to what I have taken years ago. I passed my road after taking six classes with Ted. I want to make sure I was ready so that I can eventually drive to work and this was the experience that I needed. Ive been a teacher for almost 10 years, and the best driving classes I have experienced was working with Ted as my teacher. In a few years, Im hoping my daughter will have the opportunity to learn from him, too. I do have to mention that unfortunately, the other instructor Wilson, I didnt have a good experience because I wasnt comfortable, I wasnt learning, and I wasnt happy. He was very difficult with his communication skills, I only drove with him for an 1 hour and that was disaster for me. I couldnt do it anymore. I can tell that he did not trust that Im an experienced driver or that I can do well behind the wheel. Through that hour, he would brake for me and put his hand on the wheel, rather than tell me what I should be doing and break when its very urgent. He would barely talk and explain things, and my anxiety levels peaked because of poor miscommunication. I did confront him that I need him to communicate better so that he can teach me. I paid $55 for that hour but I would rather refund cause I didnt get anything out of it and it was a waste of my time. Hes not an experienced teacher and he needs better interactions with teaching. I highly recommend to monitor his teaching and communication skills if hes going to instruct further students. In my personal experience, I felt like he was a little sexist because he liked to have control of the whole situation over teaching, which I did not like and it makes him look very unprofessional. Overall, to the Providence company, Im grateful and thankful for my experience with Ted. Because I learned the most, and the best about driving through him and I finally passed my road test.
I had a fantastic experience with Ted Lopez as my driving instructor! He was patient, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. His clear instructions and encouragement really helped build my confidence. Highly recommend Ted for anyone learning to drive!
Ted Lopez and Wilson Mercedes were amazing instructors! They were both very professional and friendly. They gave great tips and advice that helped me get my drivers license. I would definitely recommend taking a lesson with either of them.
I passed my driver license today . I had such an amazing teacher. The best one that any students could think about. Ted was very patient, educative and professional. He helped to be ready for the big day and work also on my self confidence and mental state. I will recommend him and the school to everyone. Thanks so much Ted and the team
I passed my road test a few days ago thanks to Ted! He was an amazing instructor that was very patient, knowledgeable and communicated well. He created a safe space for me to be able to make mistakes and learn from them through his teaching practices. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an instructor as patient and understanding as him!
Great school all proceeds were smooth and the staff are very patient and professional. Kevin is a great instructor fully recommend. Very competitive prices.
I am very happy and satisfied with Providence Driving School that help me through out this journey to obtain my CDL class A. As complete new student that had never driven a tractor trailer, I was able to pass my driving exam at Motor Vehicles. One of the main things that I like from the school is that from day one the instructor handed me the keys to start learning how to drive. I am big believer that the best way to learn is hands on. If you are looking for a school to obtain your CDL, think no more and sight up at Providence driving school.
