A-L & L is the best driving school Boston has to offer!! If you are looking for a driving school, I promise you, this is the best one!!! Before I arrived to A-L &L I was with a different driving school who lacked patience with me and did not really care to help me understand what I was doing what while driving but A-L & L driving school showed me other wise! The instructors, the owner, the receptionists were all amazing!!! They all work together and have the best interest at heart for their clients...
. Instructor Greg was amazing! I started with Greg not knowing anything to knowing everything, and thankfully having my license. Greg pushed me and constantly always reminded me of things so I would not forget. The owner whom I will never forget, was very supportive and cared to help me understand what I was doing and had a lot of patience. Even gave me extra 15 minutes to ensure I was completely ready for my road test. I am forever grateful for their service! I had a great experience with this driving school! I wanted to feel more confident at the wheel and fine tune my driving skills and Lawrence was an excellent instructor and helped me create safe driving habits and get comfortable behind the wheel. I passed my driving test on the first try last week and I am very pleased with my experience taking driving lessons here. 10/10 definitely recommend!
I was a very nervous driver before going to this driving school (I would literally have mini panic attacks and be drenched in sweat). But Lawrence and Greg were very patient and broke everything down to me during the lessons and were always professional. Lawrence is very social and talkative which helped me to relax (and not panic) so that I could focus on learning. Greg is very good with teaching technique on how to do each maneuver. try! The woman on the phone was very nice and willing to work around my work and childrens schedules to schedule all my lessons (the package bundle was definitely necessary in my case). You can tell that this driving school is not in it for the money and work with you to make you a safe and experienced driver. The pick-ups/drop-offs for each lesson is a definite plus as well as the early and late hours to schedule lessons (just not weekends). I highly recommend. Thanks again A-L&L Driving Academy.
Before going to driving school I didn t know I could drive on these roads. Greg and Lawrence break down everything to me and they were so patient and observant making sure I stopped at the stop signs, keep right as where I am from we drive on the left . I always looked forward to my lessons which was always fun and we would talk and laugh,I always liked when the instructor said come on wake it up a bit if I am taking too long to get the car going. these guys don t only care about the money they care about you as a person and want to see you pass your road test, fast forward I went on my first road test today and got my license.. thank you guys and God bless. I will definitely recommend you to my friends.
I started with this driving company not too long ago but they only have one way of booking lessons which is by calling them and they rarely answer. Also with driving lessons they put down your confidence as a driver and do not go in depth with their lessons would not recommend. I will update on how the rest of my driving lessons go.
I meant to write this review sooner. Its been 2+ months since I obtained my license. Five star all around. I passed my exam first try in Braintree. Wish I could remember my instructors name but he was straight forward and very knowledgeable. I decided to finally get my license well into my 40s so just know it is never too late to obtain. I am glad I went with this driving academy and recommend them to anyone who is willing to learn! P.S. the pick up and drop off (home to home) is an awesome bonus not many other driving companies implement. They are always on time (often before time but not without notifying you first). Just know you will get what you paid for and more! If AL&L is still around in 2 years my daughter will be next!
Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU!! To all the staff at AL&L, the driving instructors, receptionist, classroom teacher, everyone! They all genuinely care about what they are teaching you and they do it very well. I learn a lot in the classroom and while driving. I passed my road test today and could not be more grateful for this school. Thank you guys again. I highly recommend this driving school you wont be disappointed.
After years of fear and hesitation, I finally decided to obtain a drivers license. At the beginning, I was an amateur. Fortunately, I had the magnificent support of Mr.Greg and Mr.Lawrence. They helped to cultivated and develop my driving skills. Without them, I would not have acquired my license. I recommend everyone go to A & L Driving Academy, it was a wondrous experience.
First ill start with negative. I didnt like that each lesson was a different instructor.I wish there was a way to schedule the same instructor for each lesson because they have 3 different guys and each of them teach in their own way. especially parallel parking styles. Other than that it was always easy to schedule a lesson and the cars they use are nice and feel safe. The instuctors were nice and knew what they were doing. I failed my driving test because i was nervous. My hands wouldnt stop shaking...
and when it was time to parallel park my mind went blank. so i cant blamethe school for that. Going to take a few more lessons and try the test again. One of the instuctors is haitian and has a strong accent but he is very nice. Greg is strict like he doesnt do alot of small talk. nd Al is funny and nice but knows what hes doing
I had Greg and Lawerence as my instructor and they are both excellent drivers. They made sure I was comfortable at driving and I passed my road test. Great school and worth every penny . I can t thank you all enough
