Stick Shift Driving Academy

I had a lesson with Giovanni this week. He was a great instructor, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. I had been looking for a place to learn to drive a manual car for quite some time, I am very glad I found this place.

Great experience and highly recommend the instructor Joe. I rate my stick shift lesson with Joe as a 5. He is patient, provides timely and constructive feedback in a digestible and approachable manner. He provides the driver ample opportunities to test all techniques in a safe and spacious environment. If you choose Joe as an instructor, I recommend requesting a steeper hill for hill shifting practice in the future.

It was a great experience! I liked learning so much in three hours. I hope they continue to have more of these. I did level 2 which essentially what I needed to know for never driving a stick shift. It was fun and a bit complicated. I wish they have more lessons spread out to 2-3 days and each of them will be 3 hrs that would be easier for me to accomplish driving the stick shift rather than all in one day. But it s all good. It s great for even beginners the teacher was very patient and professional.

Very helpful. My instructor William was happy to let me move at my own pace and assisted me whenever I began to have trouble. By the end of my lesson I was confident I could drive a manual vehicle on my own

My son came for a three hour lesson and i have to say, Im very impressed with instructor John. We dropped off our son, and within half an hour, he was already driving stick shift. By the end of the three hours, he knew basic skills as well as a few skills that I dont even know. I highly recommend John as an instructor. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

I needed a stick shift refresher lesson since it had been over a decade since I had done it. William C did an excellent job providing instruction and plenty of practice time. I highly recommend the level 2 lesson if you need a quick brush up.

Michael was an amazing, kind, and knowledgeable instructor. His no nonsense instruction style meant that you grasp the most important skills for driving stick and he was great with drills to reinforce those skills. I recommend him highly to anyone looking to learn how to drive stick or, like me, brushing up after a few years of not driving!

Alex was a great instructor and we accomplished so much in my 3 hour lesson. He explained things clearly and I m confident with the basic principles of driving a manual. I got a lot of practice in during the lesson and got comfortable with shifting. I do wish the company offered follow-up lessons, for shorter periods, to get practice in different places and such. This would help the transition from lesson to driving with real traffic.

My wife and so each took a 3 hour lesson to knock off the rust. The instructor, William, was very patient while also guiding our progress. His car was nice and clean. The location worked really well to practice lots of starts, stops and hills. Highly recommended!

The course was exactly what I needed. This is much better than having a family member teaching you how to drive a stick and they are screaming at you; when you mess up. The instructor was knowledgeable in driving a stick and was very patient. I highly recommend.
