Customer service and communications were excellent and always courteous. My son took lessons with Javier. He was able to pass his driving test today! My son told me Javier prepared him for not only the DMV test but also driving in the real world. He told me he feels much more confident and competent as a driver thanks to the lessons je recieved.
Excellent teaching They teach you safe driving and how to calm your nerves as well as helping you internalize all rules, Javier is an excellent instructor, he helped me overcome my fears, feel confident and to drive in a sefe way, he took the time to explain things repeatedly nd patiently. Not only did I passed my test succesfully I also learned other important drivign skills that are needed for daily life though are not in the test, Totally recommend
Rivadavida is one of the few (if not the only?) driving schools offering driving classes in SUVs in the Bay Area! Yancarlos was a fantastic instructor -- very patient and focusing on best practices (also, very punctual!). The vehicle itself (a Lexus) was very smooth and nice -- I believe they just purchased it earlier this year (2024). I practiced in both SF and Daly City locations (as well as 280/101) and took the test in SF DMV and passed it the first attempt :) Thank you!
Yan Carlos was my instructor and he definitely was part of my success at the driving test. He s very focused on the class, advices and is constantly sharing driving techniques. He mentions when we drive well and when we need to improve. I advise him as an instructor! So happy I passed my driving test today!
Really great service, I had 8 lessons total and passed my test first time. My instructor was Javier, who was fantastic - he was super patient and calm, and gave really useful feedback that helped me stop making errors that I wasnt even noticing myself. The office was also great to work with, lessons happened on time and I had no issues scheduling my test with them. Really recommend Rivadavia - and especially Javier!

Probably the best choice for someone who has never driven or wants a brush up. Javier is awesome!! Definitely patient with me until I passed my test. The rates are not that bad considering what you re getting. They are also bilingual (Spanish) This school teaches you what you must know in order to drive safely on the road and on your test. A++++!!
I got my driving license after 8 lessons with Yancarlos. It was pretty easy to schedule lessons online and they always confirmed my availability 24hrs before the lesson. I feel like a responsible driver and Yancarlos driving lessons and tips have helped me transition to a defensive driver from an anxious one. Highly recommend them.

Took several lessons with YanCarlos and just got my license! Hes such a great instructor and I highly recommend booking with him! I had a ton of driving anxiety and he was always super patient and encouraging. When I didnt understand something he explained things multiple ways- verbally, drawing a sketch, using toy cars, and showing me by taking the wheel for a minute. My nerves were my biggest challenge and he coached me through becoming more confident in my abilities.
