Primo Driving School really helped improve my manual driving skills. We primarily practiced rev matching, but I received tips on many areas of my driving. Ask for Andrew! He will not disappoint!

Great instructors, especially enjoyed my classes with Andrew and Reyli! Would not have picked any other driving school. I was super nervous as a first time driver but adjusted super quickly thanks to the team at Primo :) All very professional and experienced~ I passed my first attempt and now am a very confident driver especially as someone international. My lessons have even helped me drive confidently in China without any worry. Definitely recommend if you re looking for a driving school and would recommend even more for UCLA students because of how convenient it is :)

After 3 times failing the exam, I passed the driving test today at Santa Monica with Byron guiding me. I had a several classes with Byron, and he is the best instructor I have never met. His so friendly and encouraging, help me with my lack of confidence in driving. He is clear about the rules and helps me practice all the turns.

Excellent place to learn how to drive! I personally took 3 lessons in a row for a license as I was in a hurry. The teaching from Chris, Reyli, Andrew, and Eduardo were so helpful for me to get me to pass the test. They go really detailed in teaching and training and I learnt much although I was somehow experienced in driving before. The general service is also nice. Cannot recommend more.

Great school, highly recommend!!! They help to schedule DMV driving test appointments and gives you a car for your test if you choose the car test service. They also send reminder emails 2 hours prior before the service. I had a Hyundai Ionic which was really comfortable to drive. I haven t been driving for more then 5 years since I left my country and moved to LA. I ve taken a two hour lesson and passed the test. Mikey was my instructor, he was really nice and helpful to point to the rules different here then my country and pointing to my mistakes so I corrected them and passed the test.

Incredible instructors. I specifically requested to take each class in a different car and with a different instructor so I could learn the most. I especially enjoyed my classes with Ellie and Eddy and took multiple with both of them. I started out being super nervous and learned so quickly thanks to their encouragement and tips. They always asked me where I wanted to drive that day so I was really able to get practice all over the city. Ellie and Eddy were incredibly friendly and gave me such a sense of confidence on the road. I could not recommend them and Primo enough! VERY SATISFIED.

First and foremost Id like to give a shout-out to my boy Eddy Calderon the best stick instructor. Thanks to his guidance I was able to buy my dream car as seen below. He was monumental in helping me find the bite point, and balancing the clutch. Honestly great experience overall, definitely worth the $210 tag for a single lesson.

Truly, this is an amazing driving school! After going to *another* school where instructors had me drive around to help them run errands, the professional quality of instructors at Primo felt much more supportive, official, and practical. Read full review all the instructors at Primo to be top-notch, I highly recommend scheduling lessons with Brandon before the big day (and using a Primo car with a digital display for the exam!) to fully understand the errors/fails the examiners are looking for. Very impressed and happy to say Im a licensed driver on the first try :)

I had all my lessons with Chris and couldn t recommend him & Primo enough. Chris was incredible. His instructions and guidance were very clear and gave me huge confidence on the road from my first until my last lesson. He easily saw the areas I needed to improve on and communicated to me in exactly the right manner. He made the whole experience enjoyable. Primo has a great system for communication and reminders about lessons. I love that I got a report after each lesson along with a map of the route I had been on during the lesson as well.

when I got hired here I would have given them 1 star. a couple years ago during their previous lead instructors incompetence: negative 5 stars. but now that I no longer work there, and can provide a review (my internal integrity) Im extremely proud of what theyre accomplishing in bringing this business into a new era with growing strengths in leadership and camaraderie. as Ive said in many lessons: my scoring in a scale of 5 is vastly different from many others.
