Steve was an excellent instructor who was both knowledgeable and made the lessons fun. Coordinating all my lessons and drive test appointment with the office workers was easy, and they were very helpful. I was able to pass my driving test the first time! Would 100% recommend.
Ive been meaning to post this review since passing my test in April! 500 stars for Steve at Ford Driving School who helped me pass with 0 errors! I had developed a lot of anxiety around driving and was convinced Id never be able to do it - and the ripe old age of 28 it was becoming both frustrating and embarrassing. Id driven a couple of times in 2016 on quiet country roads in NY, but never in the crazy car circus that is LA. Had a few lessons with another instructor that didnt seem to go...
well and left me feeling like I was never, ever going to feel safe and in control behind the wheel. Then... Steve sat in the car with me and after 5 minutes told me I dont know what youre worried about, youre a good driver already. Over the next 7 sessions he patiently answered every question I had, walked me through all the manoeuvres I needed to know (theyre actually not that complicated...), gave me a bunch of helpful tips and tricks that Im still using today, and as another Yelp reviewer has said, always explained what Id done wrong but NEVER let me feel paralysed by a mistake. My confidence went through the roof and we had amazing car conversations about everything under the sun in the meantime. Went straight to the DMV, passed with flying colors, and have been enjoying my freedom ever since. Its completely changed my relationship to LA after 5 years of living here. I can officially say Im a fully fledged adult now..! Thanks a billion Steve!
I never leave reviews like this, but my experience with this driving school was so awful, I just had to. I read good reviews about this place and got fooled to spend money on learning how to drive. I registered for a class that was a hassle to get. When I went for my driving session, which was scheduled from 8 -10 am, nobody was there at the place, and I had to call and wait for 20 minutes for my tutor to arrive. When he did, there was no apology or anything, and on top of that, he was telling me...
his stories instead of teaching me how to drive. We met with an ACCIDENT, and thank god nobody was injured. I DIDNT learn any rules or regulations which I was hoping for. After my session was over, I called them to inform them about it. There was no proper response. After the day, I started getting calls from their place harassing me about giving details about my native driving license and insurance details. They were very rude. I didnt expect this from a professional driving school. Please dont fall for it because of a few good reviews.

This has a very efficient process. They are willing to help, especially JOSE my instructor who gave a 101% quality of service. He really knows his trade and provided a terrific service.Jose is a professional instructor super nice, calm, patient and on time. Definitely recommend this school and the instructors. A stellar experience overall. I had multiple classes with Steve, which taught me how to drive from absolute scratch and gave me the confidence and experience needed to pass my test, which I passed today! I bought the 12 hour plus DMV package from this driving school. My instructor was Belica and she did an amazing job! Within the 6 lessons I learned so much! Each time I would do something she would calmly explain it to me and everything she would tell me made sense. She made very easy to understand how to control the car and how to do things and when to do them. I passed my DMV test and now have my drivers license! I would highly recommend this driving school!
Carlos is the best passed on my first driving test try. He is nice polite on time and teaches how to be safe and cautious. Best investment Ive ever made no one at home wouldnt teach me how to drive until I paid for my classes at Ford and Carlos taught me how to drive.
I paid for three lessons in February 2020 and then the pandemic hit. I called a number of times over the next weeks and months in early 2020 to see if I could reschedule the lessons to a future time when it was safer and they kept saying they d call me back, but no one ever called back. When I tried recently to see if I could still access those lessons I paid for, the company said no. I have a payment record on my bank statement that shows I paid for the lessons but they won t accept it as proof...

They say there was a three month limit on scheduling the lessons, but I never got correspondence indicating this and no one I spoke to on the phone told me this (in addition to never calling me back). I understand it s been a while since I originally booked the lessons but it s a bummer to pay for them, have proof of it, and for them still to refuse to honor the purchase especially because this all took place in the pandemic, so I think there should be a bit more flexibility in the conditions. I have a permit again and plan to take lessons, but I won t take them here because of this situation. I d be willing to pay for an additional three lessons if I could take the six total lessons I ve paid for so they d be making more money from me if they would simply honor the original three lessons. It s a shame they refused because my teacher (who I did three lessons with before the pandemic) was great. I hope they ll reach out to me to rectify.
