Ford Driving School Atwater Village, Los Angeles

My experience with Ford Driving School is great. This school helped me obtain the necessary hours per class to pass my driving test. I highly recommend Perla to be your driving Instructor. Perla uses many teaching methods for those that wont get it the first time. Shes so helpful and understanding, and shes goes above and beyond for us(learners) to be calm and focus during our driving lessons or when taking the Behing the Wheel test. Thank you so much Ford Driving School for having an amazing instructor available for students.

I passed! The instructor was really nice and took her time with me. Her name was Belica, I drove around 12 hours with her and she helped me become a better driver with advice. I m very proud of myself and grateful I could have an instructor like her.

Belica was my instructor and she did an amazing job at instructing me through the various criteria that have to be met during the behind the wheel test. She was also always very understanding and helped me learn at a gradual pace.

Thanks Ford Driving school!! if you want to get a technique to know how to drive responsibly and confidently Ford Driving school is one of the best in LA and especially thank you to amazing instructor Jose. Kevin got passed his driving test. Jose is one of the most experienced instructors at For Driving School he is a professional instructor super nice, calm, patient and on time. Definitely recommend this school, we highly recommend it!

Would highly recommend Ford Driving School, specifically my instructor Perla. She was wonderful! So kind, patient and a great teacher. I havent driven in years - Im from London and moved to LA a few years ago - so I wanted to gain confidence driving around a busy city like LA and understand road rules better. I took Fords 18 hour package which includes the DMV test and was so lucky to have Perla teach me. Anyone would be lucky to have her! I passed first time and have taken away a lot of knowledge thanks to Perla. Definitely learn with Ford whether youre new to driving or needing a refresher.

I paid for three lessons in February 2020 and then the pandemic hit. I called a number of times over the next weeks and months in early 2020 to see if I could reschedule the lessons to a future time when it was safer and they kept saying they d call me back, but no one ever called back. When I tried recently to see if I could still access those lessons I paid for, the company said no. I have a payment record on my bank statement that shows I paid for the lessons but they won t accept it as proof...
Read full review of purchase. They say there was a three month limit on scheduling the lessons, but I never got correspondence indicating this and no one I spoke to on the phone told me this (in addition to never calling me back). I understand it s been a while since I originally booked the lessons but it s a bummer to pay for them, have proof of it, and for them still to refuse to honor the purchase especially because this all took place in the pandemic, so I think there should be a bit more flexibility in the conditions. I have a permit again and plan to take lessons, but I won t take them here because of this situation. I d be willing to pay for an additional three lessons if I could take the six total lessons I ve paid for so they d be making more money from me if they would simply honor the original three lessons. It s a shame they refused because my teacher (who I did three lessons with before the pandemic) was great. I hope they ll reach out to me to rectify.

Carlos is the best passed on my first driving test try. He is nice polite on time and teaches how to be safe and cautious. Best investment Ive ever made no one at home wouldnt teach me how to drive until I paid for my classes at Ford and Carlos taught me how to drive.

I bought the 12 hour plus DMV package from this driving school. My instructor was Belica and she did an amazing job! Within the 6 lessons I learned so much! Each time I would do something she would calmly explain it to me and everything she would tell me made sense. She made very easy to understand how to control the car and how to do things and when to do them. I passed my DMV test and now have my drivers license! I would highly recommend this driving school!

A stellar experience overall. I had multiple classes with Steve, which taught me how to drive from absolute scratch and gave me the confidence and experience needed to pass my test, which I passed today! Steve was a fantastic teacher and I would recommend any future driving students to stick with him. Hes friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. Thank you, Steve!
