Behind the Wheel Driving School Manhattan Beach

The administrative staff are professional, prompt and very pleasant on the phone - a great first impression. My daughter took lessons with BTW Driving School with several different instructors- all were professional and really helped her gain comfort and confidence while driving. It was the perfect compliment to learning to driving with me haha! She passed her test on the first try. I couldn t be more pleased with our experience and highly recommend this business.

Receptionist: Yvette Overall Experience with Her: Beyond excellent Aspect of the Receptionists Service that Stood Out: I really enjoyed how helpful, accommodating, and friendly Yvette was. I had only one week to get all of my driving lessons done before my test and she looked for all available appointments to try and fit everything into one week. Because of her help (and the instructors help), I was able to pass my driving test on the first try with only 3 errors. Yvette also calls students two days in advanced to let them know about their next scheduled class and what they should bring in order to avoid a cancellation fee. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.) Overall Quality of Service I Received: Beyond excellent I am beyond satisfied with the service I received. All of the working staff was very friendly. I did not feel like I was being treated differently. Behind the Wheel Driving School worked with my schedule to make sure I get my six hours done in the week that I had left while simultaneously preparing me for my driving test and I could not be more satisfied with the service. By far, they have provided me with the best service I have ever been given. I definitely recommend this place to people who are still looking for a driving school. Because of my satisfaction with this school, my parents have decided that they will enroll my brother here, which is very exciting to me. I hadn t driven in years and needed a refresh. I m happy to have chosen chose Behind the Wheel as my teachers. I took 20 hours, saw two instructors (Mario and Tracy), and had a DMV appointment session with Ryan. The result was I passed first time and feel like a better more confident driver. So overall a great experience, by good folks that supplements well an initiative to learn to drive (11/16/2018).

Ive had two separate experiences with Behind the Wheel Driving School. First we hired them for my niece after she received her permit and they picked her up, did the two hours of driving and brought her home. After 10 hours of lessons, we hired them to take her to the DMV for the test. She passed! Now its my sons turn. Great school, great staff!!!!!

So Im an adult learner. At age 44 I finally decided to get my license since Los Angeles isnt great for public transit. (I certainly can and will use it for things other than driving in LA but that was one of the biggest factors). I purchased a package of lessons after passing my temporary license and began to learn my way around driving in Los Angeles. Read full review team of instructors were patient, offered excellent and calm advice as I drove around. I had purchased 8 x 2 hour lessons but probably could have done with half that. It may have cost a bit for those lessons but its priceless for me to finally have my license and to get it after my first attempt. Ryan, in particular, was my main instructor and his style was completely relaxing for someone like me who has gone half a life with low confidence and other fears. His style definitely put me at ease and gave me the confidence to pass. Well worth the money and time!

My daughter had a very positive experience with this whole process, thanks to Behind the Wheel staffs professionalism and positive attitude. She received very thorough classroom preparation, instructor-led driving practice and very useful tips and feedback, and has just successfully completed her drivers test! Another hurdle passed on her road to adulthood!

Behind the Wheel Driving School is honestly amazing! I just took my driving test today, and passed (thanks to them)! I highly reccomend Anita and Melissa! They both helped me so much, and gave me accurate advice, tips, and tricks to prepare me for the test! :)

Michel and Xavier were great instructors. I had taken the behind the wheel drive test Four times but when I trained with Michel and Xavier , I passed!! I would recommend their services to all who really wants to make at first try.

Amazing service with wonderful, well-trained instructors! I loved learning with Michelle who made me feel safe and relaxed throughout the entire lesson. I left with a very clear sense of exactly what to expect for the driving test and what I still need to work on.

I was very satisfied with both of my instructors, Ruben and Rocio, because they were very patient, very nice and respectful with me, and they explained very well the different driving tecniques of an automatic car.
