Golden Pacific Trucking school was worth the hour commute! From learning the Pre-trip with Alex, to steering through the maneuvers with Eric and lastly learning the behind the wheel with Ron it was an awesome experience! (not knowing how to drive stick shift) I was able to pass my Class A DMV test first attempt with the help of this great trucking school! 5 stars! VAMONOS!!!!!
Before I say anything I just want to say thank you to my guys Alex, Eric, and Ron. I 100% recommend this school, best CDL school in bakersfield. There s other schools out there but they don t beat golden pacific. The instructors are very involved with the students and definitely let the students be hands on with driving the school semis to fresno to test/practice. You get more experience with golden pacific especially because they allow for you to drive to your test. So if you guys are planning to get your CDL license, this is the perfect school to go to!
Golden Pacific Truck School is definitely the place to go to get your CDL. Very convenient and flexible hours that will work with your schedule. The instructors are hands on and are always there to guide you in any way. A big shout out to Alex, Ron and Erick for helping me accomplish my Class A License.

Definitely the best school if your looking to get the most out of your money. All three teachers (Alex, Ron, and Cee-Jay) are very knowledgeable in this industry and they help you the best they can, the rest is up to you to put in the time and work to be able to pass your test. Teachers here help you out 1 on 1 if your struggling on something and they dont get mad or irritated if you cant get it right they keep helping you. Classes take about 7-8 weeks, i passed on my first try. This school even tries to help you with finding a job after you get your license, because they care about you even after you graduate.
I have nothing but GREAT things to say about this school. Alex, Cj and Ron are all GREAT instructors. I came in to this school not knowing ANYTHING about trucks and even less about driving manual vehicles. They break everything down and make sure you understand the concepts and basics of truck driving. Additionally they are FLEXIBLE with your schedule which adds to the peace of mind of having one less thing to worry about. Also, the culture of all the students there that also help each other out...

I recommend this school to anyone Alex and Ron taught me the skills I learned, and they and Danny and CJ are very knowledgeable instructors, and also very laid back. You come in on the days youre free and study everything on the papers they give you and dont be afraid to ask questions about anything. You get lots of practice on the skills tests and when youre getting closer to your testing date, you get to practice on the road. They give you the opportunity to check out the Dmv Testing...
site in Fresno if you want to, and they let you drive up there and back. I memorized, I practiced, I took any opportunities on the road and checked out the testing site to see what to expect, and I Passed my CDL Test recently on Sept 28th on my first attempt and I started school in April. Now on to better things, and I want to say Thanks Alex, Ron, CJ for your time and patience

They were very instructive and helpful with everything you need to learn to pass the dmv tests. Alex the head instructor and owner was funny and understanding that we will make mistakes and learn from them and also is willing to help you as mush as you need me
This is a very good school to get your Class A license if you don t know how to back up a trailer or even to drive stick shift they ll teach you until you get it they ll go over the pre trip inspections with you and teach you how to do your air brakes test step by step to get a better understanding of it and they ll take you on the road to get accustomed to the trucks and not be scared or nervous once it comes time to do your actual test at the dmv.It was a pleasure going to the school and meeting new people and getting my license.Thank you guys 10/10 rating overall
